Today I will be sharing a Video with you,on that video there is five facts about me.I am blogging about this because some of yous might not know me that well so this video will tell you all about me!

Interdependence Blog Post - First Blog post of Term 2

Hi my name Is Skyla Halton and im back with another blog post,today this blog post is about interdependence.If you dont know what interdependence is it is when your not independent you're being collaborative with other people instead of working by yourself "There's No I in team always  be collaborative with other people".This week the teacher have made groups for us to be in  and named them after star wars people or something in star was like spaceship and robots etc. But this week the main learning muscle we have been working on is interdependence.The teachers sended us in our groups and half of the group would write a part of the holiday that we enjoyed or didnt enjoy then that same group would draw the holiday moments.Meanwhile the other group would be making up a rap they had to include what the people did in the holidays .When all of us finished it we had to perform the rap and show the art to every other group.When all 7 groups finished we got to hear who won every group came 2/last except for the group that used there collaboration muscle and everyone which was jakob team.

Basic Facts

Hi my name is Skyla and I'm back so today I will showing you what we have been doing for stage 6 maths.
In our stage 6 maths learning time we have been doing basic facts. We get to go on the Maths symbaloo and do some place value games.For the past 2 days I have been playing Place Value millionaire game. Place Value millionaire is when the game asks you questions like "How many tens in ten thousand". You win up to $1000000 dollars worth of virtual cash on this game.

This is the start of Place Value millionaire.

How to do Taekwondo training

Hi and welcome back to my blog,today I will be sharing with you my How to do taekwondo training.
I was learning to know how to teach people how to do taekwondo training.
I am blogging this because I think that if people read this they will know how to do Taekwondo.
                                                   This is my Taekwondo training.

How to do Taekwondo training

                               You will need:

• Yourself
• Mouthguard
• Body armour
• Head Guards
• Taekwondo Suit
• Taekwondo Belt
• Punching bag

Method

• The first step is to  put on your Head guard, Mouth Guard, Body armour, Taekwondo Suit and Taekwondo Belt to be a real Taekwondo pro.

• Second you are going to stretch your legs for 1 minute and 30 seconds to get the high,low and in the middle technique so when you're playing you already know how to do it .

• Now you are going to start kicking the punching bag and pretend it's a person. Use  the inner part of your foot because if you use, your toes your toes might break.Kick 10 times with the inner part of your foot in the middle,top and bottom.To kick it in the top, put your foot up high for the nice long  capital L.

• Now you are a pro at doing taekwondo, just train and train and you will get better.

Passion Project

Hi and welcome back to my amazing blog this week I will be talking about my Passion project.
For the past few weeks we have been doing something that has Inspired us like Art,Music,Dance and Sport.
For my passion project I have done Facts about netball.I presented it on a poster this is what it Looks Like.

 When we finished our passion projects we had to do a Reflection this is what my Reflection looks like.

Describe your passion project-My passion project is writing facts about netball.

What was your learning in it-My learning in it was to learn facts for myself.

What were you trying to produce- I was trying to produce a poster with 10 or more facts about netball to help people to learn the rules.

How far did you get with your passion project-I got to finish it to my personal best.

What would have helped you to get further-Even though  I got to be finished  I still could of made some changes.

What was the most challenging part of your passion project- Thinking of the facts to show everyone about netball.

What was surprising about your passion project-That I got to learn goal for myself to.

Did you follow your plan well why or why not-No because I had to make a bit of changes to my project.My Project got loosed on the second to last day so I just write facts.

Which learning muscles did you use the most while you were working on your passion project-Absorption Perseverance Managing Distractions.

How did you use each one- Absorption & Managing Distractions-I didn't talk to the person beside me I just got straight into it.Perseverance-I used my Perseverance Muscle by By putting my best into it.

Which learning muscles did you find difficult to stretch during passion project time-Planning muscle because I couldn't find anything.

-To Learn a new Dance because I am really starting to like Dancing.

Matariki Task

Matariki task

This week I am blogging my Matariki task.

I am blogging this because I think that I put a lot of effort into getting it finished to my personal best.

I am proud of this because I think that I stuck all of my Parkvale Pride into my Matariki task.

Literacy tasks- Must Do 1

Success Criteria for all literacy

• Follows correct structure (this will be different depending on your piece of writing)
• Best possible word choices
• Includes simple, compound and complex sentences
• Punctuation and spelling helps the reader

Task 1: Retell the story of Matariki.

One day there was 7 sisters that dream of making some kites,on matariki day they made 7 kites for them so they could see with would fly  the highest.The oldest sister made a green paper - mulberry kit with eyes of tuatua shells. The second sister made a orang kit with eyes of mussel shells. The third sister made a pink kit with eyes of scallop shells.The 4th sister made a red kit that had eyes of pipi shells.The 5th made a Blue  eyes of whelk shells .The 6th sister made a white kit with eyes of grass.The  7th sister made a rainbow kit with eyes of paua shells .That evening they were waiting for some wind to fly their kits so they laid underneath a tree waiting for the wind  so they can fly their kites.It took so long until the wind started blowing but when the wind started to blow the had already fallen to sleep . The 7th  sister woke up all her other sisters.The Sisters  woke  up and they all said I can’t find my kite! The 7th sister said because they are flying away.The 2nd sister said Onon that is not good said all of the sisters we need to get them But none of them could get and they all said BUT WHO’S WON.
