Hi and welcome back to my blog today I will be showing you my art. In our art groups we got to chose 3 options- Sketching, Painting and digital art. I chose painting. When  we got to painting we got to paint a giraffe. The biggest challenge was cutting the eyelashes. I was learning to paint carefully, and notice proportions.

Welcome Back

Welcome back to my blog for 2016. Hello my name is Skyla Halton. I am 9 years old and I am a year 5 and I am in rimu hub. My hobbies include sports, dancing and helping. My dislikes are cats and dogs because they always scratch and jump on you. I am a pet-owner, Spider-hater, hot chips-lover, animal-hater, movie-watcher, homework-doer and sports-player. I play volleyball, netball, basketball, soccer, T-ball, tag rugby and rippa rugby. I love my new classroom. We are learning to work together in the collaborative zone. I am blogging this because I want you to know all about me. In my holiday we did a lot of fun stuff, did you? I am a pet-owner which means I have pets and I own them. I have 1 dog Charlie and 1 cat J-Z .Most of my friend are year 6 or year 5. Thank you everyone for commenting on my blog posts I have seen a lot of great comments on my blog posts. In rimu hub we do postcard and certificates. Postcards are when the teacher know that you are improving and being nice to the teachers and student that week. This week Camden Bruce,Bella and Naomi got them.
