Maths Reflection

This week in maths we were mainly learning about Statistics.The most challenging part of our maths task was when I was in the learning pit I was in the learning and I didnt know who to work out 14x14 so what i did was 10 x 4 =40 and 4 x 4=16 so that gave me the answer.What I enjoyed was making a chart for all of my data and also making statements. I am blogging this because I wanted to share something with you that was very challenging for me.If you like maths or if you like this comment what you think about it!

The Magical Key

Last week me and everyone in my hub had to write a story for our reports,we had to chose out of 3 choices those 3 choices were The day I found a ...,Gripping tale or I love whanau.I chose The day I found a magical key.I am blogging this because i think it is a very good piece of writing so I want to share it with you so you can comment what you think about it!

The Magical Key

On one Beautiful Day I decided to walk down the street  Because there was a rumor going around about there was a missing key but nobody knew that there was a secret about this key,I was researching about this key and I found out it's called  yek (Key Backwards),It is Worth around 1000,00,0 million dollars (Gasp) and its made out of the Finest Gold in the WORLD.

Also people knew it was in Hastings but they didn't know exactly what street or were.

The Key Was Dropped by The one and only Kane Richardson,Kane Was The fastest runner in the world by over 29 minutes (Shocking right).Kane never knew that he dropped the key until when he got home  and started to watch news hub live he was so shocked that he fainted for about 30 seconds but woke up feeling the best he could ever be  and forgot he dropped the key and he  didn't even remember he had they key.

The next day bob stone the person who was going to go look for the key decided to create a machine never seen before it was called THE FINDER!! He was practicing and researching where to find the all of the object for his machine.He remembered one of his cousins worked at a  store that could  help him  it was named scraps for sale.But It was all the way in Great Barrier Island and bob lived in Hastings not near Great Barrier Island.So he saved up all of his money for a flight there and back and as he started packing he saw a bright light……

He was  searching and searching to find the bright light until he found the yek he was so happy he nearly exploded, no one knew that he had the key until after when he was wondering around his neighbor's house to see if they had any money because nobody knew that he was a theft(DUN DUN DUNNNN).

He was all of the news and his name was going around person by person.In the end Bob Stone was arrested for theft and was in jail for 30 years.

P.S kids do NOT steal or do not walk down the street without someone.

Hello it Skyla here and today I am going to be telling you about our maths(Tarts?Sweet!).I am blogging this because I wanted to you guys to see what happens in this hub and we we learn about for maths.This week for Maths I and my group were using our collaboration muscle to get our maths task finished.I was using my Collaboration and absorption muscle to get my maths done with my group.In my group there is nixie nehemiah and noah and  me of course.

Artefact Blog Post

Talofa,its skyla halton  how are you? today i am back for another blog post today I will be blogging about my artefact we have been doing!My Project based learning was based on the bush and what it looked like,for my artefact I created a model of what the bush looked like and what types of trees there are in the bush.

Interdependence Blog Post - First Blog post of Term 2

Hi my name Is Skyla Halton and im back with another blog post,today this blog post is about interdependence.If you dont know what interdependence is it is when your not independent you're being collaborative with other people instead of working by yourself "There's No I in team always  be collaborative with other people".This week the teacher have made groups for us to be in  and named them after star wars people or something in star was like spaceship and robots etc. But this week the main learning muscle we have been working on is interdependence.The teachers sended us in our groups and half of the group would write a part of the holiday that we enjoyed or didnt enjoy then that same group would draw the holiday moments.Meanwhile the other group would be making up a rap they had to include what the people did in the holidays .When all of us finished it we had to perform the rap and show the art to every other group.When all 7 groups finished we got to hear who won every group came 2/last except for the group that used there collaboration muscle and everyone which was jakob team.
